We created this promotional video for Maserati to showcase their sponsorship of the International Polo Championship. The video needed to be short and high energy, and showcase footage from the match and of the cars themselves.
Our primary challenge with this video production was to seamlessly blend the footage of the IPC sporting event with the Maserati luxury sportscars. We decided to draw a correlation between the horses and the cars, since both are high performance entities. All of the footage had to be shot the same day, which was an additional challenge, especially since a polo field is the size of more than nine football fields.
The resulting video captures the energy of polo, as well as the excitement of driving a Maserati, which is exactly what the client was looking for.
