Vendor Spotlight Video For Grace Ormonde Magazine

Grace Ormonde tasked us with producing a video to spotlight one of the nation’s premiere wedding decor vendors. The video needed to feature interviews with the key staff members, while also showcasing them at work on an actual wedding.

For the interviews we decided to film the staff together, as a group interview. This approach allowed us to show them interacting together as a team, and felt more alive and energetic than individual interviews would have. Additionally, by interviewing them together we were able to create a video edit that really flowed well, since the team was also working together at the wedding. By cutting back and forth between the two scenes we maintained viewer interest while also maintaining visual consistency.

The real challenge was filming the company staff in action. The venue where we filmed them only allows them two hours to do their full setup, so we didn’t have the luxury of being able to coordinate specific shots on the day of filming. We had to do our homework in advance during pre-production, and then just be on our toes the day of the shoot to capture the best elements of the team working their magic.

The finished video was featured on Grace Ormonde’s website and was very well received by both the magazine and the spotlighted vendor, Xquisite Events.

City of North Miami Beach 90th Anniversary Video

GreenTeam Inc. required a new promotional video to really showcase the company’s strengths. After several pre-production meetings we decided the best approach would be a video driven by interviews.

We produced this trailer (as well as a full film) for the 90th anniversary celebration event for the City of North Miami Beach.

Gear Setup

This was a very tough interview situation, given the noise of animals (pet hospital), the size of the space, and the lighting and background. Add to that the fact the interview needed to be two people at the same time and we had to get creative within the tiny exam room made available to us.
